Pure Quartz is a rock trinket added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• If Golem loses all Soul Hearts in his health bar from taking damage, grants Golem a single-use Holy Mantle shield, as well as a temporary shield that makes Golem invulnerable for 10 seconds.

Interactions

• Trinket Multipliers: Affects the duration of the shield, scaling with the multiplier.
  • Henge Rock: Does not increase the duration of the shield.
  • Golem + Smelter: When Pure Quartz's multiplier is < 1, no temporary shield will be provided when all Soul Hearts are depleted.
• Azurite Spindown: Using Azurite Spindown on Pure Quartz rerolls it into Electrum.

Trivia

• Pure Quartz was originally going to be colored pink, as a reference to Steven Universe ― however, this was instead separated into its own trinket, Rose Quartz.
